Do you struggle to be yourself in the world, and find yourself reflecting what you believe others expect from you? You might struggle to understand who you are and what is im-portant to you, neglecting your own needs to keep the peace around you. Sometimes, you don’t even realize you are doing this, it just “happens”, but prioritizing yourself is scary and usually doesn’t end well. Your whole life you have felt responsible for the emotions of others, but those around you don’t have the same care for your needs.
Starting therapy is an act of courage, and I’m here to walk with you on your journey to-ward healing. We will focus on your existing strengths to build a solid foundation as we begin to reframe and rewrite the stories from your life into narratives that empower you and bring healing. Outside of sessions we will tap into creative solutions that fit into your daily routines, to help you gain clarity and move forward with a renewed sense of pur-pose. Throughout therapy I will provide a compassionate, understanding, and judgment-free space, allowing you to learn how to use trust, empathy, and open communication to find deeper healing.
It is time to learn how to take care of yourself, call or text now to schedule your first appointment. My admin team will take the stress out of getting started, and I am looking forward to being a part of your healing journey.
Favorite Books
One of my favorite books is The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer. It’s a beautiful guide to self-awareness and personal growth, inviting you to explore your inner world in a way that’s both enlightening and freeing.
I also recommend Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. While it focuses on financial literacy, its approach to wealth-building and financial independence is presented in a way that’s accessible and empowering—an excellent resource for anyone looking to understand money in a new light.
Hobbies
When I’m not in therapy, you can usually find me enjoying the quiet of my garden, singing, or putting together puzzles (Legos included!). Yoga helps me stay fit and grounded, and I love traveling to experience new cultures and expand my perspective. I also have a deep love for music—whether listening or singing, it’s a major part of my life.
Funny Story
When I was a sophomore in high school, I tried out for the JV Softball team, after some encouragement from my friends on Varsity. During the first practice when it was my turn at bat, the instructions I was given were, “Swing the bat, and run!” And well.. that’s what I did! I swung the bat, missed the ball entirely, and ran for my life towards first base. A wave of laughter resounded before the coach later stated, “You have to hit the ball!” It was slightly embarrassing, but a learning moment for me; to take time to process and really interpret what is being said and make sure you provide FULL instructions.
